Supervisor IS Pharmacy Team
This position will manage the daily operations and activities of the IS Pharmacy team that supports the Pharmacy business units across UHS. Key leadership responsibilities include assisting Manager with Strategic Planning and organizational activities, and supporting the goals of the organization at the first level of management. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to: staff development, goal setting and monitoring, customer relations, vendor relations, resource review and allocations, support management, project planning/management, assigning project and support tasks and input to their management team.

o Demonstrated leadership abilities with progressively responsible management experience. (KEY must possess excellent managerial skills)
o Demonstrated experience in developing a motivating environment in which people exchange ideas and support each other.
o Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both written and oral.
o Excellent organization, facilitation, risk management, and negotiation skills.
o Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver quality deliverables in a dynamically changing and complex environment
o Possesses strong detailed analytical thinking, problem solving and results oriented skills.
o Strong working knowledge and experience with the SDLC process
o Strong working knowledge and experience with understanding of COTS software, interfaces, and IT functions.
o Possesses adequate knowledge of business and technical requirements as necessary to effectively oversee area of responsibility and stays abreast of advancements that may offer opportunity for continuing improvement
o Familiarity with HIPAA, JCAHO and other regulations that impact hospitals and clinics.
Experience and Special Skills:
Strongly Preferred Experience:
o Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the inpatient/outpatient pharmacy environment and hospital operations, procedures/functions and the relationships between them.
o Inpatient Pharmacy management experience with electronic medical record systems
