Deliver direct, quality patient care, utilizing a basic clinical skill level and knowledge base. Develop, implements and evaluates/revises a plan of care. To provide proficient, age specific, professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, as defined by the state of North Carolina. Participates in Quality Improvement Activities.
Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promotes personal and professional development. Participate in Service Excellence Program BSN or ADN and current NC RN licensure required. 1. Participants must have minimally 1 year of experience in the department or in a similar clinical setting. 2. Participants must have completed the initial probationary or trial period. 3. Participants must be minimally at the Fulfills Expectations performance level. 4. Absentee rate must be below the level requiring intervention (per Absenteeism policy). 5. Organizational seniority plus performance will be weighed by the manager to determine participation. 6. To avoid loss of benefit time, if an employee with a large vacation bank is selected into a WEO position, the manager should work with the Payroll Department Administrator to facilitate a one time vacation buyout as they move into the position. This is a one-time offer and must be completed at the time of moving into the WEO position. Prefer 2 years of experience in the specialty. Regular Part Time (.6 FTE - 24 hrs/wk)
