Promote quality patient care across the continuum. Assess, plan, and evaluate specialty population needs through communication with various health team members. Manage a caseload of patients. Develop and implement programs or projects, which facilitate the attainment of corporate goals. Facilitate productive meetings with interdisciplinary team members from across the system. Develop strategic long range plans in area of specialization. Participate in financial planning for specialty care. Maintain and advance knowledge and skills in area of specialization. Participate in professional organizations. Advances clinical expertise through attendance at conferences, reading journals, etc. Maintains a professional network among colleagues. Participate in quality improvement (QI) activities. Change practice behavior as a result of data. Encourage clinical problem identification and resolution activities. Role model use of Quality Improvement principles and techniques. Identify, address, and report quality issues identified through data sources.
MSN and a minimum of five years experience in clinical specialty required. Current NC RN licensure required.
